Financial Policies

At Oasis Mental Wellness, PLLC, provider(s) are credentialed with Medicare, BCBS, Aetna, United Healthcare, MedCost and Ambetter. This practice is also in network with Tricare and Cigna but accepts new clients for these payers on a limited basis.

For those who have insurance plans not yet accepted by this practice – many individuals with health insurance have what is called “out-of-network mental health benefits.” Such benefits reimburse you for the cost of your visit at a certain percentage of “usual and customary” rates.

We collect payment at the time of service. For those with insurance this means paying the copay at the time of insurance. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). If your financial situation is unique, please discuss this with your treating provider. At Oasis Mental Wellness, the business owner/psychiatric PA also handles the billing – you are guaranteed a kind and personalized response to billing issues/questions.

Please also note that this practice has a Credit Card on File (CCOF) policy requiring all patients to provide a credit card that is updated on file. This is becoming standard in medicine to ensure payment is timely but you can also choose to use a different payment method at the time of service instead of using your credit card on file.
